The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 13 17 Feb 2017 (20 Feb 2017)
The KLTM prices rose by US$580 per tonne over the weekend to settle at US$19,600 per tonne on Monday and continued to strengthen further by US$230 per tonne to settle at US$19,830 per tonne on Tuesday and remained unchanged on Wednesday.

 

The upward momentum continued further as the tin price increased by US$100 per tonne to settle at US$19,930 per tonne on Thursday. Tin prices finally declined on Friday to close the trading week lower at US$19,750 per tonne.

 

The total volume of tin traded during the week stood at 204 tonnes, 51 tonnes higher compared to the previous week volume of 153 tonnes.
