The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 14 – 18 June (21Jun10)
The gradual rise in the KLTM daily tin price witnessed in the second half of the previous week continued its momentum.

 

The trading week started with the KLTM daily tin price at US$16,710 per tonne on Monday, a US$190 per tonne gain from the previous Friday’s close.  The daily tin price continued to rise, bridging the US$17,000 per tonne level to peak at US$17,600 per tonne on Wednesday before dipping slightly to US$17,500 per tonne on Thursday and recovering back to the week’s peak of US$17,600 per tonne on Friday.


The weekly turnover improved further to 371 tonnes, up 43 tonnes from the previous week.
