The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 28 June – 02 July (06Jul10)
The KLTM daily tin price opened strongly at US$18,020 per tonne on Monday, up US$80 per tonne from Friday’s close.

 

However, it dropped US$20 per tonne on Tuesday and thereafter continued to fall daily to settle at US$17,130 per tonne on Friday, a loss of US$790 per tonne for the week.


Turnover however, was strong with 437 tonnes traded for the week, 51 tonnes more than the previous week and the highest weekly turnover since April 2010.
