The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 28 Nov – 2 Dec 2011 (05 Dec 11) |

The KLTM was closed on Monday in conjunction with the Maal Hijrah holiday. The market reopened on Tuesday at US$20,520 per tonne, an increase of US$70 per tonne over last week’s closing price.
However, low demand pushed the price down to US$20,400, US$20,380 and
US$20,200 per tonne on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively with a
total decline of 320 tonnes.
A total of 186 tonnes of tin were transacted during the week, a decrease of 24 tonnes from the previous week’s transaction.
