The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 31 May – 04 June (07Jun10)
The KLTM daily tin price opened strongly on Monday at US$17,950 per tonne, up US$550 per tonne from the previous Thursday’s price. 

 

However, with the exception of Thursday, tin prices at the KLTM fell throughout the week.  Strong demand was seen in the local market on Thursday and in spite of the downtrend in the LME the KLTM tin price recovered to US$17,770 per tonne from US$US17,600 per tonne on Wednesday but  fell again to close the week at US$17,500 per tonne on Friday.


Turnover was 268 tonnes for the week.
