The Kuala Lumpur Tin Market Weekly Review 5 –9 Sep 2011 (12 Sep 11) |

The KLTM daily tin price recovered further gaining slightly by US$30 per tonne over the weekend to settle at US$24,180 per tonne on Monday.
However, weak sentiments in the market pushed the tin price down by US$380 per tonne on Tuesday and a further US$200 per tonne on Wednesday. The market rebounded with the tin price registering a hefty US$700 per tonne on Thursday and a further US$100 per tonne on Friday. The tin price ended the week at US$24,400 per tonne, US$220 per tonne higher than at the start of the week.
Turnover for the week rose to 357 tonnes from 102 tonnes done the previous week.
